Gifted futbol player succeeds in life

8/10 This man is an amazing athlete and fast with the futbol. I do not usually watch documentaries but this Cristiano is intriguing. I wanted to know more about his life and how he became a super star. I found out through this film. I love how Cristiano plays and the video highlights in the documentary showcase his skill, although some of the clips are shown more than once. I was surprised to see the poverty he came from in Portugal, but it adds to the amazing story. The film documents Cristiano's rags to riches story and show some of his toys. For instance, the cars he owns are amazing - wait til you see them! The music accompanies the film well, too. I liked the documentary very much.

Very interesting documentary on an amazing athlete.

10/10 I really enjoyed this documentary. I liked learning about Cristiano's childhood and his family. There's also lots of interesting tidbits. For example, as a child he was more of a quiet individual and now he poses for ads in his underwear (his own brand). Nothing wrong with that, I loved all the images of Cristiano in this film. There's also an interesting piece in this documentary where there is an astrologer, who directly relates Cristiano's communication style with his astrological sign. He said since Cristiano is an Aquarius that is partly why he excels in his communication. I don't know if that's true, but very interesting and is working for Cristiano. Before watching this film, I wouldn't have called myself a Cristiano fan, but now I am.

A compelling documentary about a famous athlete

9/10 Before seeing this documentary all I knew about Ronaldo is that he is attractive, dates models and likes to take his shirt off. However after watching this documentary I learned that there is a lot more to him than the flashy side we often see. First off Ronaldo grew up dirt poor in a small island off the coast of Portugal. He was so poor that he often missed meals. The only thing that got him through was a soccer ball, which he brought with him everywhere he went. Also I learned that he has a huge heart. He tries to give back to his hometown and is known to pay for surgeries of children suffering from cancer. All and all I learned that there is more Ronaldo than meets the eye.

9/10 Watch this film! Cristiano Ronaldo is one of those athletes that cause a stir wherever he goes - not only because he is an excellent soccer player - but because he owns his star power. This documentary demonstrates this with video footage of Ronaldo on & off the field, along with dramatizations that hone in on the emotion of specific moments in his childhood. I enjoyed seeing Cristiano grow from a youth amateur player to the mega star he is today, and learning things about him I did not know. He has a generous heart and wallet, for example. And, the comparisons to Messi & Beckham - and even Pele - are interesting & food for thought. Overall, this is an entertaining look at an exciting soccer legend in the making.

I'm now a Ronaldo fan!

10/10 I thought this was a very well made documentary. The film goes over his childhood and how he came to where he is today. It also goes into some comparisons between him and Beckham, paparazzi stories, his generous donations and a somewhat secretive child he has. I learned a lot about Ronaldo. I had no idea he was such a caring person. We usually just see him as this flashy guy. But it seems he really takes care of people. He is very kind and generous with his money. And it seems, he's not just tossing his money around either, but takes the time to stop and listen to whoever he is helping. I definitely see him differently than I did before I watched this film.
